Austin Rocke enters his first season as a volunteer assistant coach on Jack Shearer's staff in 2026. He brings with him experience playing at both the NCAA DI and Professional level as he helps guide the Cardinals on the field.
Rocke comes to Wheeling in the midst of his professional career that ha spanned four season across the United States Soccer League (USL) and Major League Indoor Soccer (MLIS). He currently plays for Bridge City FC in Pittsburgh, and is the founder of 412 Futbol Training. He helps mentor young soccer players of all skill levels. Prior to playing for Bridge City FC, Rocke spent four seasons in the USL, split between the East Atlanta FC and Western Mass Pioneers.
He played four seasons of NCAA DI soccer at both Marshall University, Central Conneticut State, and the University of Rhode Island. He was a 2023 All-NEC Second Team honoree, and a two-time Academic Honor Roll nominee. During his career, he scored 12 goals and four assists, across his three schools.
Rcoke graduated from The University of Rhode Island with his Bachelor's Degree in Business and Psychology.
