Scott Castle is entering his second season on the Lacrosse coaching staff. He will assist with WJU’s offensive play, focusing at the midfield position.
 
Castle, a graduate from Nazareth College, Rochester, N.Y., earned a Bachelor of Science in speech pathology and will be pursuing a master’s in organizational leadership at Wheeling Jesuit.
 
At Nazareth, he was a four year lettermen for the men’s lacrosse team and was named captain his senior year. Castle was a 3-time United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-American and a 3-time First Team All-Empire 8 selection as a midfielder. He led the Golden Flyers midfield in points for three seasons, tallying 118 total points.
 
In addition, Castle was selected to play in USILA’s North vs. South All-Star game and received Nazareth’s Block N Award for outstanding athletic ability, sportsmanship, and leadership.
 
Sothoron on Castle: "Scott did a great job for us last year. He really helped our young offense improve. The chemistry between Scott and our offense will only get better since we did not lose any starters to graduation. We are excited to see our offense flourish under Coach Castle."
