Landon DelPrince enters his fourth season as Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach at Wheeling Jesuit University in 2019. DelPrince has been a part of the Cardinal program, both as a player and a coach, since 2011.

The Cardinals reached the semifinals of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) in 2018, while eight players landed on all-conference teams.

DelPrince was instrumental in the development of Dereck Downs and Matt Lee, both of whom were selected in the 2018 National Lacrosse League (NLL) Entry Draft by the New England Black Wolves.
 
In 2017, Wheeling Jesuit finished with a 6-8 record. The Cardinals rebounded from the previous season having picked up signatures wins against Florida Tech and No. 19 Lake Eire. DelPrince’s top offensive player, Dereck Downs, finished the season in the top 20 for goals per game. The Cardinal averaged 11.36 goals per game overall ranking their offense inside the top 25 nationally.
 
In his first season as head coach, DelPrince led Wheeling Jesuit to a 7-5 record. The Cardinals finished the regular season ranked 5^th in the ECAC with a 5-3 conference record. The Cardinals picked up wins against No. 11 Seton Hill and No. 19 Indianapolis. Bryce Brochu was a Third Team All-American, ECAC Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference. Three other Cardinals went on to earn All-ECAC athletic honors and 16 Cardinals earned All-ECAC academic honors. DelPrince’s offense ranked 3^rd in the country at 14.5 goals per game.
 
DelPrince started his time at Wheeling Jesuit as a player and became one of top scorers in program history. DelPrince was a four-year starting attackman and captain for the Cardinals. DelPrince scored 147 points during his college career and helped lead the Cardinals to a No. 11 ranking in 2014.
 
DelPrince graduated from Dublin Jerome High School in 2010 and went on to earn a degree in Mathematics at Wheeling Jesuit University in 2014. DelPrince is currently studying to get his Master’s in Business Administration.
