Coach Robbins has spent the last 16 years coaching youth hockey for the Wheeling Amateur Hockey Association, Wheeling Amateur Nailers, and Wheeling Park High School. He has coached at every age level, from Mini-Mites (4-year-old) to Midget and High School.
During his time coaching with the Wheeling Amateur Nailers, the local youth hockey travel team, he took two teams to the Pennsylvania Amateur Hockey League's Championships. Robbins was also an Assistant Coach on two of Wheeling Park High School's WV State Champion Teams. Robbins is a USA Hockey level 4 Certified Coach.
Aside from coaching hockey Robbins is involved in the Community. He has been an Off-Ice Official with the ECHL's Wheeling Nailers for the past 15 years. He is also an active member of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron #1. In addition to all of these, Robbins is a member of Mound City Bass Masters.
Robbins resides in Wheeling, with his wife Jill, a 2003 graduate of WJU.
