Zay Jennings enters his first season as a graduate assistant coach on the Cardinals staff in 2021-22. Jennings, a native of Allentown, Pa., joined the coaching ranks after a highly successful playing career at the NCAA Division II level. While competing at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, N.Y. from 2018-20, Jennings helped the Dolphins to two NE10 regular season division championships, the 2020 NCAA tournament, and an overall record of 37-18. Prior to his time at Le Moyne, Jennings was a standout at Caldwell (N.J.) University, where he averaged 10.5 points per game as a freshman and 12 points per game as a sophomore. A graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School, Jennings graduated as the school's all-time leading three-point shooter. Jennings earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management and Leadership from Le Moyne in the fall of 2020.
Coach Jennings's primary responsibilities will include recruiting, on-court coaching, opponent scouting, daily operations, and academic monitoring. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration from Wheeling University.
