Landon Travis

Landon Travis joined the Cardinals in the summer of 2021 as a graduate assistant coach. A native of Williamstown, W.Va., Travis was a standout at Williamstown High School for coach Scott Sauro. He finished his career with the Yellow Jackets as a 1,000-point scorer, a 2016 first-team All-State selection, and the Little Kanawha Conference Player of the Year. Travis also participated in the annual WV North-South All-Star Basketball Classic. He was also a standout baseball player at WHS. Travis then went on to West Virginia University, where he joined the men's basketball program as a student manager from 2017-20. He graduated from WVU in the spring of 2020 with a bachelor's degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology.
Coach Travis's primary responsibilities will include recruiting, external operations, opponent scouting, on-court coaching, and academic monitoring. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration from Wheeling University.
