Jhared Simpson, a 2008 Wheeling Jesuit Alum (Business Marketing), will rejoin Coach Sancomb and staff for the 2011-12 season as a graduate assistant. Simpson, the 2008 WJU Men's Basketball MVP under Sancomb, was also a member of the ’04-05 WVIAC Tournament Championship team and the back-to-back NCAA Tournament teams of ’04-05, and ’05-06.

After graduation, Simpson joined Jay Defruscio, former Head Coach at Jesuit of 25 years, in Indianapolis, IN where he worked with the Indiana Pacers for two years. Simpson’s tenure with the NBA gave him a wide breadth of experience including player development, team practices, opponent scouting, and day-to-day administration. Jhared brings with him a lifelong love of basketball.
