Chad Dickman returns for his ninth season at Wheeling Jesuit.  He has played a vital role with the Cardinals’ recruiting, scouting, on-court coaching, pre-game preparation, film breakdown, and player development.  Dickman also serves as WJU’s NCAA Compliance Coordinator.

Dickman came to WJU after a one-year stay at St. Vincent College (Latrobe, PA) as an assistant coach, helping to lead the Bearcats to a 25-7 record and a spot in the NAIA National Sweet 16.

Originally from Frederick, Maryland, Dickman played his high school ball at Thomas Johnson High School.  While there, he helped the Patriots win the 1997 State Championship and led the team to the 1998 State Final Four, earning All-State Honors his senior year.

Dickman continued his playing career at St. Vincent College (Latrobe, Pennsylvania) from 1998-2002, scoring 1,279 points, currently ranked 11th in school history. He also earned All-Conference honors his junior and senior year.  Dickman led the Bearcats to the NAIA National Tournament twice, reaching the National Elite 8 in 2002.

Dickman received a bachelor’s degree in finance from St. Vincent in 2002 and earned his MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2004.  Tom Dickman, his father, is a native of Wheeling and is the All-Time Leader in Public High School victories in the state of Maryland.  He has since moved onto the college ranks and is currently the head coach at Hood College in Frederick, MD.
