Tony Keiling Jr. enters his second season as a member of Zac Bruney's Wheeling University Football Coaching staff as a Defensive Graduate Assistant and Outside Linebacker's Coach in 2023.
In 2021, Keiling was a key member of the Cardinal's defensive coaching staff, helping lead a Cardinal's defense that allowed 25.73 points per game. He helped coach the outside linebackers, and led Jayvon Johnson to a team-leading 79.0 tackles and a All-MEC Honorable Mention honor. He also helped lead a secondary that set the single-season record with 15 interceptions.
Prior to Wheeling, Keiling served as the Linebackers Coach and Defensive Coordinator at Garfield High School, where he served for five seasons. He helped coach Mason Woods to the 2021 Defensive Player of the Year and was on the staff that led Bishop Fitzgerald to the offensive player of the year award. He spent the two years prior as Linebacker coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Livingstone College, where he coached Demarcus Nolan.
Keiling Jr spent his playing days at MEC-rival Concord University, where he started as a true freshman in 2007. During his junior season, Keiling Jr. led the team in tackles and was top 15 in the nation in tackles for loss.
