Thomas Corbett enters his second season as a defensive graduate assistant coach at Wheeling University in 2019. He will work primarily with the outside linebackers on Head Coach Zac Bruney's staff.
Corbett came to the Ohio Valley following a four-year playing career at Division II Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. Corbett played running back for the Storm, where he was a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) All-Academic Team honoree. Following his playing career, he served as a volunteer assistant defensive backs coach in 2017.
The Fort Washington, Maryland native earned multiple letters at Friendly High School and also garnered all-county and district all-start honors during his prep career.
Corbett graduated with a bachelor of science in criminal justice and a minor in psychology from Lake Erie.
