Daley enters his fourth season as offensive line/tight ends coach on Head Coach Zac Bruney’s staff.
During the 2021 season, Daley helped tight end Tristan Ballard to his second All-MEC honor as he pulled in over 200 receiving yards and two touchdowns on the season. Daley also assisted with the offensive line that made the way for the program's first-ever 1,000-yard rushing attack. Cade Raudebaugh would earn his second All-MEC Second Team honors with the help of Daley's coaching.
In the spring of 2021, Daley led an offensive line that produced the best running attack in school history, with Sy Alli IV picking up over 700 yards on the ground in four games. At the end of the season, Aaron Hess and Cade Raudebaugh were both honored as All-MEC Second Team Award winners for their efforts.
Daley came to the Cardinals after spending 25 years as a high school assistant and head coach. The last eight years he served as the head coach of his alma mater, Steubenville Catholic Central. Daley guided the Crusaders to a record of 49-36, had seven-consecutive winning seasons, and four OHSAA Playoff appearances (2012, 2013, 2017, and 2018). His teams own school records in seven offensive categories, and he is the third-winningest coach in school history. Daley was the OVAC Class A and Eastern District Coach of the Year in 2001 (Bellaire St. John), Region 12 Coach of the Year in 2013, and Jefferson County Coach of the Year in 2017 and 2018. His overall head coaching record stands at 70-65.
In addition to Steubenville Central, Daley had tenures as a head coach or an assistant at Bellaire St. John, Buckeye Local, and Edison High Schools.
