Justin Kropka

A 13-year veteran of nearby Harrison Central High School, Justin Kropka enters his third season as the safeties coach on Head Coach Zac Bruney's staff in 2020.

Kropka came to the Cardinals after spending 13 years as the Huskies head coach. The 2009 OVAC AAA and Ohio Division III Eastern District Coach of the Year, Kropka's Harrison Central teams posted a 73-57 record during his tenure and made the school's first three OHSAA State Playoff appearances in 2009, 2012 and 2015.

Prior to Harrison Central, Kropka spent seven years on the sidelines of his alma mater as an assistant coach at Martins Ferry High School. The Purple Riders were 66-10 with five playoff berths while he was on the staff, including an appearance in the state semifinals against eventual champion Cardinal Mooney in 2004.

Kropka graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor of arts in elementary education.
