James Moore enters his first season as a offensive graduate assistant coach at Wheeling University in 2019. He will work primarily with the wide receivers.
Moore comes the Cardinals after serving one season as a graduate assistant coach at his alma mater Lake Erie College in Painsville, Ohio. Moore coached slot receivers and running backs for the Storm and also assisted with academic progress travel coordination for the football team.
The Monroeville, Pennsylvania native was a three-year starter at Lake Erie. He converted to wide receiver in 2016 and hauled in 14 receptions for 160 yards, before returning under center in 2017 to six games at quarterback for the Storm and serve as a team captain.
A 2014 graduate of Gateway High School, Moore led the WPIAL in passing yards his senior season and served as a team captain for two years.
Moore earned a Bachelor of Science from Lake Erie in sport management with a minor in marketing.Â
