Jacob Turay joined the Cardinals as an offensive graduate assistant coach in 2020.
Turay arrived in Wheeling following a two-year career playing linebacker at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. During his senior season he led the Storm with 8.0 tackles for loss and was second on the team with 5.5 tackles per game.
The Twinsburg, Ohio native began his playing career at the College of Dupage in Illinois, where he was the second leading tackler on the No. 2 ranked defense in the NJCAA.
In addition to his on-field experience, Turay spent a summer as an intern at Health 360 Performance Institute in Cleveland, where he designed different workouts and coached high school, collegiate, and professional athletes in the fundamentals of proper technique and functionality while incorporating movement and speed training.
Turay obtained his associates in arts from the College of Dupage and has a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in coaching from Lake Erie College.
