Jack Fitch

Jack Fitch enters his third season as a member of the Wheeling University Football Coaching Staff. Fitch will work primarily with the wide receiving corps as Wheeling looks to continue to build on their high-powered offensive attack.

In 2022, Fitch helped lead a wide receiving corps that set a new program record with 2,299 receiving yards. He helped Lowell Patron earn Second Team All-MEC honors and set the single-season receiving record with 726 yards. Two of Fitch's wide receivers earned All-MEC honors during the year, with Patron and Chris Canaday both being honored.

In 2021, Fitch assisted a wide receiving corps that had two receivers eclipse the 500 yard mark in a season and totaled 2,487 yards receiving for the season. Tristan Ballard and Ryan LaFollette each received All-MEC Honorable Mention honors under his watch while Lowell Patron set the new school record for receiving yards in a game when he picked up 177 yards against Alderson Broaddus.

Fitch is a Wheeling University Alum, graduating with the class of 2019, and was a two-sport athlete playing both Football and Men's Track & Field during his time with the Cardinals. Fitch had 25 career receiving yards with the Cardinals as a wide receiver. On the track, Fitch was a two-time MEC Individual Champion with the Men's 4x100 Meter Relay team, and helped establish the MEC Championship record during the 2019 season.
