Hayden Delay enters his second season as a Graduate Assistant under Head Coach Zac Bruney with the Wheeling University Football team in 2022.
Daley worked directly with Wheeling University running back Sy Alli during the 2021 season and together the two helped bring the Cardinals their first-ever 1,000-yard rushing season. Under Daley's watch, Alli rushed for 1,014 yards and earned the MEC's Rushing title as the team went 5-6. Alli would earn All-MEC First Team honorsfor his efforts.
He works primarily with the running backs and helps coordinate the ground game with Wheeling University Offensive Coordinator Nemo Washington.
Prior to Wheeling, Daley played four years of college Football as a tight end at Marietta College where he played in 10 games for the Pioneers over his four-year career.
