Bo Alexander

Bo Alexander enters his first season as a member of Zac Bruney's staff during the 2024 season. He will serve as the team's Defensive Line Coach and Director of Football Operations during the season as he helps out on the defensive side of the ball.

Alexander comes to Wheeling after spending the 2023 season with Eastern Michigan University as a Defensive Assistant Coach. Alexander was part of a staff that led the Eagles to allow 26.69 points per game, while Alexander's defensive lineman totaled 22.0 sacks and 64.0 tackles for loss. He would help lead Defensive Tackle Peyton Price to the MAC All-Conference list as an Honorable Mention during the season.

Prrior to Eastern Michigan, Alexander spent two seasons as a Defensive Graduate Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh, where he was the Defensive Ends coach for the Panthers. He helped develop All-American Calijah Kancey during his two seasons and helped the Panthers lead the ACC with five defensive touchdowns in 2021. Alexander has also seen coaching stops at Kent State University as a Gradate Assistant and Beloit College as an Assistant Coach.Defensive Line Coach, and Video Coordinator.

Alexander played four seasons at Kent State University, and finished his senior season leading the team with 10.0 tackles for loss and finished third on the team with 62.0 total tackles. He was a three-time All-MAC selection and was inducted into the National Football Foundtaion's prestigous Hampshire Honor Society.
