Austin, Texas native Matt Ribera enters his first season as Graduate Assistant coach of the Wheeling University baseball program.
Prior to Wheeling, Ribera spent three seasons an associate coach for the Evoshield Canes Southwest program in the Austin area, coaching both youth players and high school athletes.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration with a minor in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Matt will work to obtain his Masters in Business Administration at Wheeling University.
Matt will serve as the Pitching Coach for this years baseball team.
