Coach Sumner enters his first season on the Cardinal staff for the 2021-22 season. He has worked at Saint Anselm College, New England College and the University of Saint Mary prior to joining Coach Lewicki’s staff. He has experience working with infielders and hitters at the collegiate level. Coach Sumner has also coached several seasons in the collegiate summer ball circuit as well. He was an assistant coach for the Nevada Griffons (MINK League) and Geneva Redwings (formerly NYCBL). Coach Sumner was also the head coach for the North Adams Steeplecats in the NECBL for a summer. He brings a total of 11 years of college coaching experience to the Cardinal Staff.
