WHEELING, W.Va. – The No. 5 seeded Clarion University Golden Eagles defeated the No. 4 seeded Fighting Scots of Edinboro, 3-1, in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Quarterfinals Thursday afternoon. Edinboro rallied to win the first set, 25-23, before Clarion claimed the next three sets (25-11, 25-21, 25-23).

Clarion recorded 13 blocks and held Edinboro to a hitting percentage of .134.

Clarion will face the winner of the quarterfinal match between No. 1 seed Wheeling Jesuit University and No. 8 seed Winston Salem State University on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
