Wheeling, WV- The Wheeling University Men's Soccer team (1-9-1), (0-8-1) will take on West Virginia Wesleyan (2-7-2), (1-6-1) this Wednesday, October 15th. Wheeling fell 1-0 to Wesleyan in Buckhannon earlier this season. The Cardinals have a big opportunity to pick up some crucial conference points.

Wheeling is playing their second of back to back home games. Last time out they drew a tough matchup against Charleston who is at the top of the MEC. Wheeling drew a red card in the 24th minute putting them at a disadvantage for the rest of the game. Charleston only scored one goal before Wheeling drew the card. Charleston only got 40% of their shots on net despite Wheeling being a defender down for most of the game.

Wheeling's first game against Wesleyan this season was a tightly contested match in Buckhannon. It took a goal in the 88th minute to break the stalemate.
