Wheeling, W. Va. – Wheeling Men's Swim Team lost 190 to 64 which from the outside looking in seems like a rough day, but they actually had some very positive things happen in the meet and it all started with
Jiwh Santos who would end up winning two events starting with the 100-yard backstroke and he ended with a time of 54.09 he would also come in first place in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 47.31.
Nathan Yost would come in first in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:05.15 and
Patrick Kirby would get second place in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:53.52.
Patrick Kirby would come in second place in yet another event finishing with a time of 2:11.17 in the 200-yard backstroke and
Nathan Yost would finish second in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 58.8.
Alex Ferebee would finish off the day for the Cardinals coming in second place in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:04.46.
The next meet for the men's swim team will be on February 14th through the 17th for the MEC/GMAC Swimming & Diving Championships.
