WHEELING, W. Va. (July 22)- The Wheeling University Volleyball program was awarded the AVCA/USMC Team Academic Award for the 2020-21 season. This is the program's eighth-consecutive team academic award from the AVCA. The honor is given to volleyball teams that maintain a grade-point average of 3.3 or greater for the full academic year.
 
"I am extremely proud of the award, especially in such a challenging year," Head Coach Christy Benner stated. "This team works hard for each other."
