ATHENS, W.Va. (April 10) – The Wheeling University softball team dropped a pair of games at Concord Saturday afternoon.
The Cardinals (7-17) lost 7-3 in the opener, before falling 8-0 in six innings in game two.
Third Baseman Cassie Roman led the Cardinals in game one with a two-run home run, while right fielder
Autumn Oehlstrom finished with three hits, including a double. Shortstop
Taylor Hradek also had a multi-hit game with two singles and a stolen base.
Wheeling was limited to four hits in the 8-0 loss in game two. First baseman
Gina Fogle led the way with hits in both of her at-bats.
The Cardinals will head to Glenville State tomorrow, Sunday, April 11 for a conference twinbill starting at 1 p.m.
