BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- Due to Mountain East Conference COVID-19 protocols, the Mountain East Conference has made adjustments, which affect the Wheeling University football schedule.

The league made the following adjustments to the first week of the football schedule:

• The Charleston vs. Concord game has been postponed.
• The Fairmont State vs. Wheeling game has been postponed.
• The Frostburg State vs. Alderson Broaddus game has been postponed.
• Wheeling will now play Frostburg State on Thursday, March 11, at 7 p.m.

The remainder of the first week of competition (West Virginia Wesleyan at West Virginia State, West Liberty at Notre Dame, UNC Pembroke at Glenville State) remains intact. 

Through March 15, spectators at Frostburg State football games are limited to students and family members of Frostburg State student-athletes to ensure a smooth rollout of their procedures. Click here to read more about Frostburg State's Spectator Protocols.
