WHEELING, W.Va. (Sept. 7) – Wheeling University Head Softball Coach Tiffany Buckmaster announced her recruiting class for the upcoming season Monday afternoon.
These individuals have either signed national letters of intent (NLIs) or institutional letters expressing their desire to play softball at Wheeling. This year's class features talent from seven different states and includes a quartet of transfers.
"This 2020 recruiting class brings a lot of athleticism, softball smarts, and depth to the roster," Buckmaster said. "With more newcomers than returners, they have the unique ability to come in and make an impact right away on the field in some very key areas for the 2021 season. More importantly, they also bring with them the character and values we want to continue to shape the cardinal softball culture. We are extremely excited to watch these young ladies leave their stamp at Wheeling University, in the softball program, and in life after college."
