BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (Sept. 24) - Wheeling University volleyball junior outside hitter 
Breanna Kramer (Norwalk, Ohio/Monroeville) has been selected as the Mountain East Conference (MEC) Offensive Player of the Week honors, while teammate 
Audrey Francis (Sidney, Ohio/Fairlawn) has been tabbed the league's Defensive Player of the Week.
Kramer helped lead No. 21 Wheeling to a 4-0 week in Atlantic Region Crossover competition, including a pair of wins over teams that made it to the 2018 NCAA Tournament. She averaged 3.54 kills per set and had three double-digit kill matches and hit .223 on the week, and had three double-doubles (kills/digs). She also had a season-high six blocks in a win over Shippensburg.
Francis averaged 7.23 digs as the Cardinals picked up four Atlantic Region wins last week. After posting 24 digs in a three-set win over Clarion, she was one shy of her career-high with 34 against Mercyhurst. She added 19 digs in a win over Slippery Rock, and 17 more in a victory over Shippensburg. She also did not commit an error on 42 service reception attempts. 
Kramer, Francis and the rest of the Cardinals, who are ranked No. 21 in the latest AVCA Top-25 poll, will entertain Indiana (Pa.) tonight, Tuesday, September 24 at 7 p.m. and close out the week with its MEC-opener against West Liberty on Friday, September 27 at 5 p.m.
