LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 10) – A trio of Wheeling University volleyball players were named American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Americans announced the organization Tuesday afternoon.

Haley Kramer (Norwalk, Ohio/Monroeville) and senior setter
Stephanie Sylvester (Oregon, Ohio/St. Ursula Academy) each became three-time All-Americans. Kramer was named to the second team, while Sylvester was given a nod on the third team.Â

In addition, junior libero
Audrey Francis (Sidney, Ohio/Fairlawn) earned Honorable Mention All-America honors.
All three were also selected Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA)Â All-Americans the following day. Sylvester was lauded as a D2CCA First-Team All-American, Kramer was named second team, while Francis earned a third-team nod from the organization.

The Cardinals have featured at least one All-America selection from the AVCA in each of the past 10 seasons.

Kramer, who was the AVCA Atlantic Region Player of the Year, leads all of Division II with a single-season school-record .440 hitting percentage. She ranked second on the team and 81
st in the nation with 1.03 blocks per set and also finished second on the team with 3.19 kills per set. As a team, Wheeling ranked 10
th in Division II with 2.46 blocks per set.

Sylvester leads Division II with 12.76 assists per set and 1,518 total assists. The 2019 Mountain East Conference (MEC) Player of the Year has helped the Cardinals rank third in the nation with a .282 hitting percentage and second in Division II with 14.91 kills per set. Sylvester became just the second player in MEC history to surpass 5,000 career assists.Â

Francis earned her first AVCA All-America nod after ranking seventh in the nation with 6.07 digs per set. She also slotted sixth overall with 722 total digs and helped the team rank 20
th nationally with an opponent's hitting percentage of only .132 this season. Francis now owns the top-three digs per set seasons in Wheeling history. She is also now a two-time D2CCA All-American.

Christy Benner's Cardinals recently concluded the season 33-4 overall and advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. Wheeling won 28-straight matches during the season and have advanced to the Sweet 16 in each of the past nine seasons.
