WHEELING, W.Va. - The 2018 Atlantic Region Crossover will be co-hosted by Wheeling Jesuit University and West Liberty University. The latest edition of the volleyball tournament will begin on Friday, Sep. 7 at 1 p.m. and wrap up with a 6 p.m. match featuring the Cardinals on Saturday, Sep. 8.
Four member institutions of the Mountain East Conference - Wheeling Jesuit, West Liberty, Fairmont State, Charleston - will be represented in the tournament. The other four universities - Clarion, Pitt-Johnstown, Shippensburg, Slippery Rock - are members of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.Â
The Cardinals are going into the tournament with a 6-2 record on the season and a No. 14 ranking in the
NCAA Division II American Volleyball Coaches Association poll. Ahead of WJU in the poll are eight teams with equal or worse records. A successful outcome in the tournament for Wheeling Jesuit could see them crack the top 10 for the first time this year.

Cassie Meyer head into the Atlantic Region Crossover in great form, each already totaling over 100 kills thus far. Defensively,
Audrey Francis is leading the Cardinals with an impressive 215 digs up to this point.
