PITTSBURGH (Nov. 28)Â - The No. 12Â Wheeling Jesuit University Cardinals will take on the No. 25 Lewis University Flyers on Thursday, November, 29 in the NCAA Tournament National Quarterfinals at the A.J. Palumbo Center on the campus of Duquense University as part of the NCAA Division II Fall Festival. The match is set for 12 p.m.
Wheeling Jesuit (37-3) is making its sixth appearance in the last seven years in the NCAA Quarterfinals, while the Flyers (28-7) are making their third appearance and second in the last three seasons. Thursday's contest is a rematch from the 2016 Division II Tournament Quarterfinals in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, which was won by Lewis in straight sets (

Wheeling Jesuit is led by a quartet of All-Americans, including consensus first-team All-AmericanÂ
Haley Kramer (Norwalk, Ohio/Monroeville). Kramer is hitting .384 this year in the middle for the Cardinals to rank
 14th in the country. The 2018 MEC, D2CCA and AVCA Atlantic Region Player of the Year also ranks seventh in the MEC with 3.52 kills per set, while her 1.21 blocks per set is 27th in the country.Â
Running the offense is consensus All-American
Stephanie Sylvester (Oregon, Ohio/St. Ursula Academy). Sylvester is currently second in the country with 13.13 assists per set and she leads the country in total assists with 1,786 total assists. The Cardinals rank eighth in Division II with a .267 hitting percentage and lead the nation with 15.48 kills per set with Sylvester guiding the offense.

AVCAÂ Third-Team and D2CCA Second Team All-American outside hitter
Cassie Meyer (Jackson Center, Ohio/Jackson Center) ranks 12th nationally with 4.38 kills per set and she is ranked third on the team with 3.41 digs per set and has recorded a team-high 22 kill-dig double-doubles this season.
The Cardinals defense is led by sophomore libero
Audrey Francis (Sidney, Ohio/Fairlawn). A D2CCA Second Team All-American and AVCA All-Region selection, Francis ranks second in Division II in total digs (849) and ninth in digs per set (6.24).
 Francis has had 25 matches of 20 digs or more, and six with 30 or more. She had just 16 errors in 531 serve receptions (.970 serve reception percentage) for the Cardinals.Â

The Flyers enter Thursday's contest having won three straight and 12 of their last 13 overall. They advanced to Pittsburgh by winning the Midwest Regional after defeating Rockhurst in the championship match in four sets.

The Lewis offense is led by seniors Elizabeth Hyland and Abby Becker. Hyland leads the team in kills with 470 (3.70 per set) while Becker is averaging 10.72 assists per set. Alexandra Preuss is averaging 3.07 kills per set, while Caroline Stefanon is adding 2.40 kills per set.

Defensively, Stefanon and Venema lead the way up front averaging 1.15 and 0.78 blocks per set, respectively, while on the libero Ronni Katazynski is averaging 5.29 digs per set.
The winner of the match will advance to the NCAA National Semifinals to meet the winner of the Western Washington/Tarleton State match on Friday, September 30 at 4 p.m.
