Cardinals Ready for Pioneers Tuesday Test

WHEELING, W. Va In the completion of a four-game in eight-day stretch, the Wheeling Jesuit basketball teams readies to welcome the Glenville State Mountain East Conference test Tuesday night.
 
It will be a battle for the top of the MEC women's hoops standings. The Cardinals (11-2) and Pioneers (12-1) open the evening for what should be the best MEC game on the hardwood of the 2016-17 season to date.
 
In the men's contest, the No. 8 Cardinals will try to add to their seven-game win streak against a formidable Pioneers squad in a 7:30 p.m. tip-off.
 
**Schedule note: Saturday's WJU home basketball games vs. Concord have been moved up an hour to a 1 and 3 p.m. start times.
