Box Score Fairmont, W.Va. – Head Coach Danny Sancomb has been waiting for this moment all season long. The Cardinals have all their players back from injury and their freshman have had enough experiences that they are not green anymore. The result: Jesuit rained shots from all over the court, shooting 64% from the field and 50% from beyond the arc to blister the Falcons 88-70 at the Joe Retton Arena Thursday Night.
Four Jesuit players scored in double digits. Junior guard
Eric Siefert made 8 of 14 field goals, 4 of 8 three-point attempts, and 4 of 6 free throws for 24 total points. Siefert added 3 rebounds and five assists to his totals.
Freshman forward Patrick Moseh made 8 of 11 field goals, 1 of 2 three-point attempts, and 4 of 6 free throw attempts for 21 points. Moseh finished the game with seven rebounds and eight assists.

Haywood Highsmith went 6 of 8 from the field, 1 of 2 from three-point land, and 2 of 3 from the foul line for 15 points. Highsmith also had five rebounds and an assist for the Cardinals.
Finally, sophomore forward
Kyle Ritz went 5 of 9 from the field for 10 points, while adding three rebounds and one assist to his season totals.
Wheeling Jesuit had 42 points in the paint, forced 17 turnovers, capitalized on 20 points off those turnovers, and got 24 points off the bench. Jesuit never trailed in the game.
"We played a very smart brand of basketball tonight and we really played together as a team. The entire team executed the plan and the result was a huge victory for us," stated Head Coach Danny Sancomb.
The win moves the Jesuit Men's Basketball overall record to 13-8 and 9-7 in the Mountain East Conference. The loss drops Fairmont State, ranked #2 in the Mountain East Conference coming into the contest tonight, to 17-7 overall and 14-4 in the MEC. The Cardinals return to action when they host the Shepherd Rams this Saturday at 3pm in the McDonough Center.
