Wheeling, W.Va. -- Highlighted by a new McDonough Center pool record in the 400 freestyle relay and double wins by Matthew Whitehurst,
Vanessa Gipson and
Jandre Strauss, the Cardinals defeated California University of Pennsylvania's women, 156-105 and NDC's Women 204-45, and the Men beat NDC 144-110.

The team of
Amber Saint Clair,
Alexis Anderson,
Jade Worrels, and
Anna Davis swam to a 3:42.42, well under the pool record set last week by the Cardinals of 3:44.09.

Matthew Whitehurst won both the 100 and 200 backstroke in 58.78 and 2:06.94 respectively.Â
Vanessa Gipson won her specialties, the 1000 and 500 freestyles in 10:52.96 (fastest post time in the ASC) and 5:22.45 by large margins. And
Jandre Strauss posted a 59.95 in the 100 breast stroke and 2:13.30 in the 200. Â
