Box Score Palm Beach, Florida – In the first game of the Pepsi Bash at the Beach, hosted by Palm Beach Atlantic University, Wheeling Jesuit played Cedarville University. The Cardinals defeated the Cedarville Yellow Jackets in four sets, 25-17, 25-17, 22-25, 25-18.

Emma Schleucher both hit above .400.
Kindall finished the game with 20 kills, one dig, and three blocks for a .469 hitting percentage and 21.5 points. Schleucher hit .414 and added 14 kills, one service ace, two digs, four blocks, and 17 points in the victory.

Kayce Krucki added 14 kills, nine digs, and three total blocks. Freshman outside
Maddy Smyth added seven kills, three digs, and three total blocks.

Andrea Thobe played a vital role in the victory with 56 total assists, one service ace, eight digs, and three total blocks. Finally, senior defensive specialist
Makenzie Ripley added 21 digs to push the Cardinals past the Yellow Jackets.
Cedarville University entered the game with a 12-7 record and showed in the third set that it is a quality team. The Yellow Jackets capitalized on seven WJU hitting errors to take a set from the Cardinals for only the second time in the past 18 matches.
The regional win over Cedarville pushes Jesuit Volleyball's record to 20-1 and 6-0 in Mountain East Conference play. The Cardinals return to action tomorrow once again in the Pepsi Bash at the Beach. Wheeling Jesuit squares off with Saint Leo University at 12 noon and then takes on #22 Palm Beach Atlantic University on their home court at 6pm.
