Box Score BUCKHANNON, W.Va.---The Wheeling Jesuit women's soccer team fell 2-1 on the road against West Virginia Wesleyan College. The Cardinals fell to 4-9-2 overall and 3-5 in league play, while Wesleyan improved to 8-4-3 overall and a second-best 6-2-1 in the WVIAC.
The Bobcats netted both goals in the first half and carried a 2-0 advantage into halftime. Wesleyan controlled the pace of play in the first half, attempting four shots and did not allow the Cardinals to get a shot off. The initial score was tallied in the in the 14th minute by Aleisha Rees followed by what proved to be the game winner in the 24th minute by Jocelyn Prescott.
In the second half, Jesuit had a pair of opportunities to close the gap, and in the 80
th minute, recorded the period's only goal.

Maria Tennant collected her second goal of the season – Hutchinson has two assists this year.

Holly Kraus collected five saves, while WVWC's keeper Lauren Duncan had one in the winning effort.
Wheeling Jesuit will be back in action at James LaRosa Soccer Complex for WJU's Homecoming Weekend on Saturday, October 20
th against Steon Hill University. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m.
