Jakub Skrzypczak a WJU sophomore from Mielec, Poland has been named the Appalachian Swimming Conference's swimmer of the week for the second time this season.
 
Skrzypczak led the Cardinal men to a dual meet victory against West Virginia Wesleyan, capturing two pool records in the process. The sophomore started off his day by leading-off the winning 400 Medley Relay (3:39.33) with a new WJU Pool Record of 52.87 in the 100 Backstroke. Not to be outdone, he would go on to win the 200 Backstroke in a Pool Record time of 1:54.70. In his last swim, he anchored the 200 Freestyle Relay (1:29.91) with a split of 22.40.
