Jakub Skrzypczak a WJU sophomore from Mielec, Poland has been named the Appalachian Swimming Conference's swimmer of the week. Skrzypczak led the Cardinal Men to a 2nd place finish at the West Virginia State Games over the weekend. In his individual events, he finished eighth in the 200 Individual Medley (1:59.39), sixth in the 400 Individual Medley (4:21.53), and fourth in the 200 Backstroke (1:56.24). "Kuba" contributed on four relays as well. He led off the 400 Medley Relay (53.85, fourth place), led off the 200 Medley Relay (25.46, fourth place), led off the 800 Free Relay (1:50.65, fourth place), and finished the meet by leading-off the 400 Free Relay (49.79, fourth place).
