For the first 2018 WJU Male Athlete of the Week (Jan. 1-8), Cardinals wrestling's Connor Craig receives the honor. Craig, a freshman, continues his solid first year with a 3-0 mark as the lone undefeated WJU wrestler at the NWCA National Duals last weekend. At 157, Craig major decisioned the #9 wrestler in the nation from Colorado State-Pueblo, came back from down 8-4 for an 11-9 sudden victory decision over his Gannon opponent and pinned his foe against Central Oklahoma. Craig is now 15-4 on the season.
