This week's WJU Female Athlete of the Week (Jan. 1-8) is Lauren Lipscomb of the Cardinals women's basketball team. Lipcomb helped WJU to a 2-0 week where she averaged 10.5 points and 5.5 rebounds. At Charleston, Lipcomb scored 8 points and grabbed 2 rebounds, before she hit for 13 points and 9 rebounds in the Sunday win over West Virginia State.
