Olivia Lent, a junior from Zanesville, Ohio, earned a second-straight WVIAC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week for her performances at the Kent State Tune-Up. A week ago at the Akron Invitational, Lent missed an NCAA Provisional mark by .04 seconds, but this week that wasn’t the case. At the Tune-Up, she set a new personal best and placed third overall in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.30, while reaching the NCAA qualifying standard.
Lent continued to impress, setting a PR in the 60-meter dash (8.20) and running the anchor leg on the record-breaking 4x400 meter relay team, who marched to a time of 3:57.71 – Lindsay Mills, Janey Hall and Tori Fluharty were the other members of the team.
