WHEELING, W.Va. - Dereck Downs is the WJU Male Athlete of the Week!

Downs and the Cardinals picked up their first victory over the season, 12-11 over Florida Tech. 

Downs finished with seven goals on the afternoon, including a game winning strike with four seconds on the clock.

Downs and the Cardinals return to action Saturday, March 11, when they travel to Mercyhurst.
