With his performance at the Appalachian Swimming Conference Championships, Tomas is the WJU Male Athlete of the Week for Feb. 6-12. Caixeta posted six 3rd place finishes and a 4th place over the 4-day event. Individually, Tomas was 3rd in the 100 fly (49.79), 50 free (20.94) and 100 back (46.04) events. Caixeta was also part of 3rd place relays of the 400 medley relay and 200 free relay and 4th place 800 free relay.
