Jade is the WJU Female Athlete of the Week for Feb. 6-12. Worrels won the 100 breaststroke and placed in 6 other events at the Appalachian Swimming Conference Championships in Christiansburg, Va. The junior won the 100 breaststroke in 1:07.56, .99 of a second faster than her preliminary time and 0.13 better than the second-place finisher. Jade also was part of three 4th place relays – 200 medley, 400 medley and 400 free. She also was part of the 6th place 200 free relay team. Individually, Jade was 10th in the 100 free and 13th in the 50 free events.
