PRINCETON, W. Va. – Wheeling Jesuit’s Erika Jusko has been named the WVIAC Player of the Week, as announced by the league office.
Jusko, a 5’8” sophomore pitcher/infielder from Euclid, Ohio, went six-of-nine at the plate in the doubleheader sweep of Virginia Union. She scored four runs and had four RBI. Three of her six hits went for extra bases. She had a double and two triples. For good measure, she tossed four innings of work in relief in the second game and struck out nine to pick up the win.
