WHEELING, W.Va. – After finishing first out of 102 golfers at the 2016 NC4K Classic hosted by Ohio Dominican University, Kasey Frazier of the women’s golf team is the WJU Female Athlete of the Week!

In her time as a Cardinal, Kasey has earned medalist honors a record 16 different times.

Kasey fired rounds of 75 and 74 to claim the top spot. She finished Sundays’ round three shots off the pace of first place, before shooting a two-over par round of 74 on Monday to secure first place.

Frazier began her day with seven consecutive pars, before bogeying the eighth and 10th holes at Jefferson Country Club. She then parred the final eight holes of her round to clinch medalist honors.

Kasey and the women’s golf team next compete at the Edwin Cottrell Invitational, hosted by West Chester University, on April 10.
