Peyton Trollinger

Peyton Trollinger enters his second season as a Graduate Assistant under Sports Information Director, Zack Zeigler, for the 2025-26 year. He will work closely with Zeigler to assist in videography, photography, social media coverage, content creation, game operations, website management, live production, and other assigned duties.

Trollinger is no stanger to collegiate sports. Serving primarily as a play-by-play/color analyst, he has been part of over 90 Division II contests from 2019-2024, including three PSAC tournaments and 11 NCAA Atlantic Region tournaments with PennWest California (formally California University of Pennsylvania) and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. During the 2023-24 season, Trollinger served as a commentator for the IUP Crimson Hawks ACHA Division I hockey club. He was a recipient of a NATAS Crystal Pillar Award for his color commentary work in the student-produced 2022 PSAC Championship between Shepard and IUP. His passion for sports continues to grow as he has experience covering hockey, football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer, field hockey, and lacrosse.

During the summer of 2024, Trollinger interned with the Washington Wild Things as a Marketing and Promotions intern. He was a member of the Wild Things "Street Team", which required the use of his outgoing yet dedicated personality to encourage fan engagement and promote the organization. He also aided with team promotions and the creation of social media content.

He graduated in August 2024 from IUP magma cum laude with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Media Production. Currently, Trollinger is pursuing a Master's Degree in Business Administration at Wheeling University. He will use the knowledge gained from this position, the MBA program, social media, marketing, and sports to expand his skill set for future opportunities.
